To create the well-rounded character of the 12 year old, we harmonise whiskies matured in hand-selected, first-fill, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, which together deliver its main flavour profile of spicy-sweetness and mellow warmth. Additional refill casks round out the powerful notes from the first-fill casks, resulting in a classic, versatile whisky that’s always finely balanced. Source
